Shipping policy

At EF Number Plates, we aim to ensure fast, reliable delivery for all customers. Please read our Shipping Policy below for full details on how and when your order will be dispatched.

1. Dispatch Time

All orders are dispatched within 2 working days of successful document verification and order confirmation.
Orders placed after 3pm may be processed the following working day.
Weekends and bank holidays are not counted as working days.

2. Delivery Method

We ship all orders using:

Royal Mail Tracked Services

Secure, insured delivery
Full tracking information provided
Signature may be required depending on service used

Royal Mail handles the majority of our deliveries to ensure fast and reliable service across the UK.

3. Delivery Times

Once dispatched, typical Royal Mail delivery times are:

Royal Mail Tracked 48: Usually 2 working days
Royal Mail Tracked 24 (if selected): Usually next working day

Delivery times may vary due to Royal Mail delays, seasonal volume, or external factors outside our control.

4. Tracking Information

A tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as your order has been dispatched.
You can track your parcel directly on the Royal Mail website.

5. Document Verification Delay

To comply with UK law, number plates cannot be produced or shipped until valid Proof of Identity and Proof of Entitlement documents have been checked.
If documents are not provided promptly, dispatch may be delayed.

6. Lost, Delayed or Damaged Parcels

If your parcel is delayed or lost:

Please contact us, and we will raise an investigation with Royal Mail.
Royal Mail investigations may take several working days.
Replacement plates will only be issued once Royal Mail confirms the parcel is lost.

If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours, including photos.

7. Shipping Address

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout.
We are not responsible for parcels delivered to an incorrect address supplied by the customer.
